It has a lean mixture - great pickup and power in cities - overtakes silly college students riding pulsars in the middle of the road (like an ass) and stationary karizmas with extreme ease! But this is not suited for highways. Highway riding demands a rich mixture (this reduces the pickup and all, but who cares about that in highway!).<BR/><BR/>Bangalore too is chilly at nights. Just that I had expected to reach home before the sun set! The only place warm at night is next to the exhaust of a lorry! :-P Soon after Sankranti, summer weather is expected to set in. Then we'll all be cursing the heat! At least then, i hope, I'll be able to sleep peacefully in my sweat than with all kinds of wool on and still wake up with a blocked nose.Vinay S Shastryhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00211829623701490721noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20173024.post-62974218591542893382009-01-01T18:58:00.000+05:302009-01-01T18:58:00.000+05:30Hey congrats on your first long trip Shazo! <BR/>btw, you didn't mention the strange smell coming from your bike as when you guys landed at Coffee Day! ;) Some explanation on that perhaps?<BR/><BR/>After that meeting, it gave me a reassurance that we're just over an hour (albeit at 80kmph) away from each other, so it becomes easy to attend an SOS call like "dude, I'm going mad here sitting at home, see you in an hour"<BR/><BR/>Yeah there was a mixup with the location, i had come about 15km ahead than agreed, i was hoping to see some foreign cars and bikes there, that coffee day is famous for such sightings, especially on Sunday mornings.<BR/><BR/>I was honestly scared thinking I'm stranded with my bike and no key in the middle of the highway! You guys had a scare with fuel, but i had filled for 200 bucks just before i left and it took me back home too! :)<BR/><BR/>I remember you guys asking me, with a surprised look, why I'm wearing a huge jacket over a sweater! Guess you found out later ;) I was equally surprised to see you guys in only tee-shirt/Formals.
